names Larry D. Haughey Vice President, Government Markets
XTAR, LLC today
announced that it has named Larry D. Haughey vice president, government
markets. Mr. Haughey will be responsible for the sales and marketing of
XTAR's unique X-band services to the U.S. government's commercial and
military sectors, including the Departments of Defense, State and Homeland
Security. He will report to Denis Curtin, chief operating officer of XTAR.

Signs Agreement with SES AMERICOM for IPTV Trial
SES AMERICOM,
an SES GLOBAL company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg stock exchanges:
SESG), announced today that BellSouth (NYSE: BLS) has signed an agreement
to trial IP PRIME™, a centralized, satellite-centric video distribution
solution that enables telcos to bundle and distribute hundreds of standard
and HD television programming channels with voice and broadband services.
Radyne
Receives $1 Million Xicom Tri-band Amplifier Order
Radyne Corporation
(Nasdaq: RADN) announced that its Xicom Technology subsidiary received
a new order of over $1.0 million for Tri-band Satellite Amplifiers from
a major U.S. Satellite Communications Integrator. The amplifiers will
be used in an existing mobile satellite program for the U.S. Military.
The order is expected to ship over the next two quarters.

Remote Sensing Satellite, IRS-1C, Completes Ten Years
The Indian Remote
Sensing satellite, IRS-1C, which was launched on December 28, 1995, has
completed ten years of operation. IRS-1C carried a unique combination
of three state-of-the-art cameras - a Panchromatic Camera with a spatial
resolution of 5.8 metre, a Linear Imaging Self Scanner-3 with a resolution
of 23 metre and a Wide Field Sensor with a resolution of 188 metre.

Com Dev International
Ltd. has been awarded a contract,valued at between Cdn$ 5 million and
Cdn$6 million, under an Authority to Proceed (ATP) from an Asian customer.

ORBCOMM announces completion of equity financings
ORBCOMM, a global
satellite telecommunications company, has announced that it has completed
equity financings totalling over US$110 million led by Pacific Corporate
Group (PCG), which committed $60 million. New investors, in addition to
PCG, include investment firms MH Equity Investors and Torch Hill Capital.
