Launch platform returns to port

The Odyssey Launch Platform and the Sea Launch Commander
in transit from the Launch Site at the equator following the launch
failure of the NSS-8 satellite.

While the Odyssey sustained some damage, her structural
integrity is intact and all marine systems are operating without
issue. Both vessels are sailing under their own power and with
full crews.

ViaSat receives $12 million MIDS tactical
network terminal order for Taiwan
ViaSat has been
awarded an order valued at more than $12 million for Multifunctional
Information Distribution System (MIDS) terminals for the government
of Taiwan. This award is for more than 70 LVT(1) configuration terminals
plus spares under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program through
the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). The order
will be for the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense...
SES to buy back GEs 19.5 percent stake in
exchange for assets and cash
SES announces
that it has agreed with GE a EUR 1.2bn split-off transaction in
which SES will contribute certain assets and cash to a new company
and exchange shares of that new company for GE’s entire holding
of 103,149,900 shares in SES, subject to satisfaction of certain
