Elena
Branet drives the overall strategy and vision for Microsoft TV’s
marketing and PR initiatives in the EMEA region, including the management
of all marketing communication functions for the group. She also works
closely with customers and partners to develop and execute joint marketing
programs.
Ms.
Branet comes to Microsoft with more than 12 years of marketing experience.
She has been involved in launching new technologies and brands to
market and has extensive experience in iTV, broadband and mobile technologies
- key areas in which Microsoft TV is helping customers realize their
triple and quadruple-play visions.
Prior
to joining Microsoft, Ms. Branet held the position of Vice President
of Corporate Development at Esmertec AG, where she was responsible
for marketing the embedded software platform company to the financial
community in preparation for a planned IPO. Prior to this she spent
two years as Vice President of Marketing at Seclutions AG, with responsibility
for market strategy, branding, product marketing, communications,
PR and strategic partner development.
Branet
has also held positions at Remote-I Corporation and Fantastic Corporation.
