From the President, APSCC |
On behalf of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council
(APSCC) and its publishing partner, DS Air Publications, it is a
great pleasure to present the APSCC Yearbook 2007 edition to the
satellite professionals, world wide.
As an international association representing all sectors of the
satellite industry, APSCC has been serving the industry in a myriad
of capacities to promote communications and broadcasting via satellite
as well as outer space activities in the Asia-Pacific region. From
its establishment in 1994, APSCC has provided focal and comprehensive
information on the satellite, space, and broadcasting industries
for its members as well as the satellite community through its publications
including its reference materials.
APSCC will keep striving to improve the quality of its publication
services to better serve the industry with the very best up-to-date
source of business information and contacts services, so that our
colleagues could effectively reach others in the industry.
I am sure that the APSCC Yearbook will be the point of reference
for the global satellite and space industry as the year book has
been designed, categorized, and cross-referenced so that the people
you need could be found quickly and easily. In the 2007 edition
of the yearbook, we have included a detailed description of our
association including its history and mission statement, a list
of its officers, and its main activities for the past year. There
is also an APSCC Member Entries section with an up-to-date APSCC
members profile and detailed description. In addition, the APSCC
Yearbook includes a Satellite/Space Industry Index where the list
and background information of all industry-related entities in the
Asia-Pacific and around the world as well as the key contact information
is included.
I’d like to thank all APSCC members for their contribution of the
entities to the Yearbook, and extend my appreciation to DS Air Publications
for putting this guidebook together. I hope that this yearbook would
be of great use to all industry professionals.
