Telecoms World win Best SME Contact Centre Solution Award

A London based business telecommunication provider, Telecoms World Plc, were honoured with winning the Best SME Contact Centre Solution at the highly regarded Comms National Awards, which took place at the Hilton Park Lane, London on October 13th. Their entry in to the category beat 7 other telecom providers; they were also finalists in the special category for Customer Service. The winning award was in recognition for Telecoms World providing innovative and effective contact centre services to their customer, Berkshire NHS Trust.

As specialists in cloud delivered communications and contact centres, Telecoms World demonstrated exceptional success in providing a hosted contact centre solution for the Berkshire NHS Trust. Their products and expertise enabled office staff, home workers and remote staff to have full access to call functionality as if they were in all the same office at the same time. This resulted in a 48% increase in answered calls, with 97% efficiently reaching the desired skilled worker or department. This in turn has delivered a truly mobile workforce; creating a confidently connected environment which enables users to work seamlessly together from the office or in the field, any time and using any device.

The Comms National Awards, were hosted by TV sports presenter Gabby Logan and are the most coveted and celebrated awards for the telecommunication sector. Recognising and celebrating excellence in product, service and solution delivery across all aspects of the industry; designed to enable all types and sizes of UK telecoms providers to participate. The judges were some of the biggest and most distinguished experts for this year’s Comms National Awards; all of them enjoying long and successful careers in the industry and who know and understand what represents excellent channel support and high quality customer solutions.
