CETel’s Managing Director Guido Neumann speaks at the upcoming Oilfield Connectivity series on May 10 in Aberdeen, UK. The Oilfield Connectivity 2017 highlights the importance of communications and information technology to the oil, gas and mining industry and brings together key decision-makers of both, the connectivity and the oil & gas industry.
“Delivering managed end-to-end satellite based communications services is a key driver to success and secures steady operations in isolated on- and off-shore drilling sites” Guido Neumann, MD of CETel, points out. CETel provides solutions for many scenarios: from low bandwidth M2M-comnmunications to complete meshed ICT solutions via satellite to hybrid-networks, where satellite links complete fiber-based communications structures.
“The technological developments over the past couple of years had a tremendous effect on satellite communications: HTS, IoT and M2M changed the industry and global operating energy corporations need to rethink the spread of data throughput in terms of security, reliability, and efficiency. CETel has helped many organizations in re-organizing ICT structures to build reliable, secure and fast networks based on satellite links that meet latest industry standards”, Guido Neumann explains further. The meeting will be held in Aberdeen for the ninth time and completes the series that has been hosted in Lagos, Abuja, Rio de Janeiro, Abu Dhabi, Cairo and Kuala Lumpur before.
