Projects such as Tele MD, Last.Backend, Yorso, Buydentity and Smart City LED LIghting will be presented in Innopolis during the CIPR-2017 Conference which is held with the support from Rostec State Corporation, as part of the competition aimed at selecting Russian IT startups to come on the foreign markets.
Overall, over 50 applications for participation in the selection were submitted. The panel focused mainly on projects in the areas of the Russian IT services market with the highest demand from foreign companies. The panel members included representatives of Rostec State Corporation, Moscow Agency of Innovations and the technology park IT-Park.
Three projects out of the five projects which became finalists have been created using the "smart city" concept. For instance, Last.Backend startup offers the automated infrastructure management system, while their rivals in the competition presented a project on creating "smart" city LED lighting. The third project is TeleMD, a unique platform for supporting decision-making in medicine. TeleMD development makes it possible to analyze and identify images from diagnostic equipment, to predict a risk of disease development and possible complications; it also allows giving early diagnosis and making recommendations for selecting the most appropriate type of treatment.
Two other projects which became finalists are related to solutions in the spheres such as trade and logistics. Yorso startup is an online wholesale marketplace for fish and seafood which makes it possible to automate procurement, sales and logistics. This Russian startup already operates in eight countries. One more solution allowing automation of processes in trade and logistics has been suggested by the Buydentity startup. People developing this company have created a system for combating the distribution of counterfeit goods using the blockchain technology. Buydentity solution makes it possible to monitor supply chains from production of goods to their purchase in a store.
During the CIPR Conference, projects with high export potential which may have considerable support from the largest Russian industrial corporation, Rostec State Corporation, in terms of negotiations and legal affairs, will be selected from a number of projects which became finalists. Besides, winners will have an opportunity to implement pilot projects in large industrial enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the Industry 4.0 concept implementation.
