An independent jury of experts has nominated Skyline Communications, global leader in end-to-end multi-vendor network management & OSS software solutions for the broadcast, satellite, cable, telco and mobile industry, for the prestigious Export Lion 2017 award in the category 'medium/large enterprises'. This coveted award is handed out annually by the Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) organization to put the spotlight on Flemish companies that excel in exporting their technology. Skyline Communications has in fact already won this award once in 2012, in the category 'small enterprises'.
“We feel very privileged to be nominated for this prestigious award once again,” commented Ben Vandenberghe, CEO at Skyline Communications. “This is a highly appreciated recognition of our great achievements over the past couple of years, including the successful execution of our expansion strategy. The latter revolves entirely around our unique end-to-end network management and orchestration software technology, and our exclusive value proposition towards our customers. The relevance of our technology continues to gain significant traction around the world, mainly because our customers are facing important operational challenges due to the rapidly growing complexity of their operational ecosystems and the ever more competitive and rapidly changing value chain in the media and broadcast industry. Our customers consider our DataMiner technology, combined with our unique niche expertise, to be one of their most valuable key strategic assets to achieve success.”
Skyline Communications currently has over 250 employees dedicated to this world-class end-to-end network management & orchestration technology, and a local presence in 20 key locations around the world. DataMiner is already managing and orchestrating some of the largest and most prestigious broadcast, IPTV, HFC and satellite operations in over 100 countries around the world.
