Santander Teleport has upgraded its VSAT hub infrastructure to the latest iDirect Evolution software release. The new IDX version 4.1.3 enhances the value proposition to customers by increasing satellite spectrum efficiencies, and enabling higher bandwidths and packet processing speeds, when combined with the latest iQ series modem terminals.
Some of the new features available with the new version include DVB-S2/S2X ACM support, reduced roll-off factors, enhanced waveforms with 16QAM modulation for ATDMA return rates of up to 40 Mbps, or Multicast Fastpath encryption for secure transmissions.
