Before joining Celestia UK, Micky was co-founder and VP Modem Design at Blu Wireless Technology Ltd, responsible for PHY layer design and development. He brings a wealth of technical and commercial knowledge having worked in the wireless communications industry for over 25 years. Micky has deep understanding of several radio communication systems, with hands-on expertise in Digital Communications, Information theory, Signal Processing, and RF systems. Taking the helm at Celestia UK comes at a pivotal moment for the company, part of the pan-European Celestia Technologies Group, as Micky explains. "I am focused on generating value in the company through innovation and a can-do attitude. We are already developing genuinely disruptive solutions for the ‘difficult’ problems in Radio Communications. Celestia UK is a young start-up, one that is growing rapidly into an exciting workplace and I intend to foster that growth and value proposition over the coming years. We are building a dynamic and versatile team at Celestia UK, one that has demonstrable theoretical and practical knowledge across a range of different technical domains,” he adds.
José Alonso, Chairman of the Celestia Technologies Group says, "Micky brings a vast amount of technical and commercial expertise to the role. Having previously been co-founder of start-ups and with a strong track record in US and UK wireless companies, he brings a unique combination of skills, experience and strengths to the business. It is this, together with other senior technical and commercial experts on our team that makes Celestia UK a force in the UK high-tech radio communications industry."
As part of the business' growth, Celestia UK is currently looking for like-minded talented engineers to join the company, working across a range of different disciplines.
