The latest innovations in artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) will be showcased at a major international event to be hosted by Advantech, a global leader in IoT technology.

The Advantech Global IIoT Virtual Summit is entitled ‘Connecting Industrial IoT Innovation’ and will take place from 22-25 September.

The event will bring together technology leaders from across the world, with speakers from major names such as Bosch and Ericsson as well as Advantech, to explore how innovations in AI and IIoT are shaping the next industrial revolution.

Following the opening keynote session on Tuesday 22nd, a total of 80 speakers will deliver sessions on a range of topics. Wednesday will focus on Smart Manufacturing & AI, including iFactory, industrial equipment manufacturing, video AI and smart automation. The theme for Thursday is Smart Cities Infrastructure, with a focus on energy & environment, transportation and intelligent logistics.

The final day will provide an opportunity for delegates to engage virtually on a one-to-one basis with Advantech experts as well as participating in group discussions.

Each session will be available at two different times to carer for time differences for delegates in different parts of the world. Delegates can attend as many sessions as they wish.

Jash Bansidhar, managing director of Advantech Europe, explained: “The pace of technological development shows no signs of slowing and it is vital that engineers, specifiers and purchasers are aware of the latest innovations in AI and IIoT to make the right decisions for their projects.

“Our Global IIoT Virtual Summit will give these groups the opportunity to explore the technology transfer roadmap and look ahead to future developments with senior representatives from Advantech and our key strategic partners.

“The networking opportunities for delegates are also significant as we anticipate attendance by more than 2,000 professionals from across the globe.”
