Bridge Technologies joins the Grass Valley Technology Alliance

Bridge Technologies is proud to announce its membership of the Grass Valley Technology Alliance, joining 20 other members in an association that aims to support collaboration across the media production chain, with the ultimate aim of providing an environment that improves purchasing confidence for broadcast providers.

Grass Valley describes its own Technology Alliance as an ‘ecosystem of complementary technologies and services that can be integrated to provide greater efficiency or functionality for customers. These solutions are then developed, tested and certified to ensure compatibility and interoperability’.

By joining the Grass Valley Technology Alliance, Bridge Technologies is able to yet further demonstrate to customers its commitment to ‘making the complex simple’. This implies giving the ability and assurances they need to assemble potentially complex broadcasting infrastructures, and the flexibility of multi-vendor solutions, whilst still being certain that the deployment of products from a range of disparate suppliers will work together.

Specifically, as a member of the Grass Valley Technology Alliance, Bridge Technologies is bringing its innovative monitoring solutions and expertise to over-arching Grass Valley-unified broadcast network setups. Bridge Technologies' VB440 and GV Orbit system demonstrate a great example of how the intrinsic complexity of IP networks can be intuitively monitored whilst delivering an optimized and progressive analysis solution.

Commenting on joining the alliance, Chairman of Bridge Technologies Simen Frostad said: “Joining the Grass Valley Technology Alliance is about more than just providing customers with the certainty and security of interoperability when they develop their media networks, though that element is of course very important. It’s also about working closely with other technology providers and with trend-setters and pioneers such as Grass Valley themselves, with the aim of pushing forward the boundaries of what can be achieved in the field of media production and distribution”.

Tim Shoulders, CEO and president of Grass Valley, echoed Frostad’s sentiments regarding the importance of constantly striving to facilitate the delivery of better, more progressive and more innovative media to consumers:

"As our customers strive to deliver the captivating content and high production values that consumers demand, the Grass Valley Technology Alliance gives them access to trusted solutions that are tested and configured to ensure interoperability with Grass Valley's solutions – one of the major hurdles our customers face when deploying mutli-vendor systems. We are delighted to see Bridge Technologies join the GVTA, bringing our valued ecosystem partners to a total of 21 diverse companies that support collaboration across the media production chain."

Furthering this ongoing relationship, Bridge Technologies will be joining their fellow alliance member Leader, in the GV Studios on the 20th November. The webinar will address the challenges of IP Monitoring & Measurement, outlining the way in which customers can leverage the nature of the Grass Valley Technology Alliance to improve workflows and develop more effective network infrastructures.
