Sateliot details business plan ahead of launch of first nanosatellite in its IoT-5G constellation

Sateliot, the satellite telecommunications operator, will discuss the details of its business plan ahead of the imminent launch of the first of the 100 nanosatellites that will make up the constellation with which the company seeks to extend the Internet of Things (IoT) with 5G coverage globally and massively.

In his first international press conference, Jaume Sanpera, Sateliot’s CEO, will explain everything that will surround this pioneering mission on a global scale – scheduled for the morning of Saturday 20 March from the Baikonur base in Kazakhstan – at a strategic moment for the company, which has just closed its Series A, the first tranche of its financing plan that will be used to complete the R&D phases related to the payload and the launch of the first nanosatellites.


This transaction, with majority participation from European investors and funds, will be followed in the coming months by Series B, which aims to deploy a further 16 5G nanosatellites to begin offering commercial service in 2022.
