Teleports are in a unique position to profit from helping customers integrate cloud services

One of the top concerns about adopting the cloud among IT executives is lock-in, when the cost of moving from one vendor to another becomes so high that they are essentially stuck. But implementing a multi-cloud solution is complex. That creates a major opportunity for teleport operators, according to panelists in the WTA webinar, Delivering Hybrid Cloud Services.

By becoming experts in cloud integration, teleport operators can offer their customers the most cost-effective mix of public cloud and in-house capacity with the right balance of cost, performance and control. Yet the average teleport operator today is a slow adopter of cloud services – one of the fastest growing markets in the world – putting themselves at risk of missing major opportunities for growth.

Watch the on-demand webinar on WTA’s website. It will open your eyes to an opportunity you can’t afford to ignore:

Average corporate spending on the cloud grew 60 percent to US$74 million per year from 2018 to 2020, when 92 percent of companies had put at least part of their computing into the cloud. It was in 2018 that WTA first reported on how teleport and satellite operators were integrating the cloud into their operations and client solutions. In 2021, we take a fresh look at how teleport operators are letting cloud services transform their operations, the markets where they are finding cloud service growth and the requirements for success in a cloud-dominated environment.
