Advantech Wireless has completed the first half of its current fiscal year with a double digit growth in bookings. The company’s ongoing investment in advanced RF and Satellite Networking products continues to support expansion in all geographic markets with consistent growth across all product areas.
“We started this fiscal year with an aggressive growth target and are on track for a record year,” said Steve Richeson, Senior VP of Global Sales and Business Development at Advantech Wireless. “The continued introduction of our second generation GaN products along with our sales channel expansion in Indonesia and South Asia has performed in line with our expectations. We continue to see traction for our advanced Satellite Networking products following the launch of the series 7000 and 8000 remote terminals and wideband modulators earlier this year. Globally we see the upcoming roll-out of HTS capacity continuing to influence demand.”
At the NAB Show in New York Advantech Wireless is demonstrating its wideband modulator and remote terminal products for HTS networks operating up to 500 Megasymbol/second (Msym/S). Also in display are its latest RF products including a 200 Watt Ka-Band Solid State Power Amplifier; the largest SSPA in its class for Ka-Band wideband uplinks as required in HTS networks.
