WorldCast Systems FM Transmitter brand, Ecreso, is a recognized industry leader with over 60 years of expertise in FM broadcasting. The recent delivery of its highly redundant 10kW FM Transmitter to ARD member, RBB (Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg), completes a successful year delivering Ecreso transmitters to German broadcasters and radio stations. With a total count now arriving at 1,650 Ecreso FM delivered to Germany, WorldCast Systems hits the top position as the country’s #1 supplier of FM transmitters.
Ecreso’s deep specialization in FM transmitters covers a range of low, medium, and high-power systems. Amongst these, the flagship product highly appreciated by its German customers is the 5/10kW FM Transmitter with its high level of reliability, redundancy and up to 76% efficiency. Some of its unique features include an integrated digital modulator, 5-band sound processor, RDS encoder, MPX over AES compatibility, advanced measurement interface, full SNMP management, and more. Its smart design enables reliable, low maintenance, and great sounding FM broadcasting.
The Ecreso FM 10kW were supplied to RBB by MediaLantic. CEO Veit Wegmann, “Following successful installs of Ecreso FM transmitters at BR and WDR, Medialantic were happy to trust Ecreso engineering for this major site at RBB”. As well as these and other ARD members, Uplink Networks GmbH recently entrusted WorldCast Systems with an order for over 800 Ecreso FM transmitters. The project included thirty Ecreso FM 10kW transmitters, some of them equipped with Ecreso “As Solid as 1+1” in-built full redundancy, as well as a number of turnkey solutions with double drive and n+1 configurations.
