General Dynamics announces End-of-Repair support for URC-200 (V1) line-of-sight (LOS) transceivers

November 8, 2019

General Dynamics Mission Systems announces a change in repair support for the URC-200 (V1) LOS Transceivers.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has maintained supportability on the URC-200 (V1) radios 10+ years after ending production. However, General Dynamics Mission Systems will no longer be able to service repairs, offer accessory options, or provide updates/upgrades and technical assistance effective September 30, 2020 due to component availability issues and the depletion of finished goods.

We encourage our user community to learn more about our current URC line of radios, the URC-200 (V2) Transceiver, or our new URC-300 Transceiver, when considering replacement radios. Users will see an increase in performance and functionality in both radios. More information on the URC radio products can be found at www.gdmissionsystems.com/LOS.

End of Life Schedule

The following End of Support timetable identifies the URC radio replacements for your convenience. Once a product has reached its End of Support date, General Dynamics Mission Systems will no longer provide repair services.
